However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. The war was a terrible time for her, and Andry does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born in the north. Andry was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Armorer. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Delebean was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dyer. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove her worth to the world
