History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Harbek was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Harbek's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
