She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sailor work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Sailor soon after.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Berrian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Berrian grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Personality: He is a Engraver first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to unite with her sister
