Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nissa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing a long, tan cloak. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Uthemar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and seeks redemption
