Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Miner who has hired her part-time. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born into a rich family. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miner. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He dresses like a well dressed Mayor does. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and an old rival family wants him found
