However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Malquis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Her long silver hair reaches down to her waist. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: Sarah is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: Astar hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
