Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Layabout, and is pretty ugly. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears a worn and beaten armor. His hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are silver and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paymon grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Healer, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: She wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with red lining and desert motifs. She is portly but not overly obese. She has a long golden ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her eyes are likewise green. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She became a Guard soon after.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He wears dull green sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed sickle, just in case. He carries a battered glaive and tarnished sickle as well. His blue crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has gleaming, smiling red eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Healer born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Azzakh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Azzakh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Healer for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern
