History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Bidreked and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for her, and Claira does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born in the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Dyer, and she later adopted a second daughter.
