History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. One day when Ortegar was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Ortegar was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
