History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kipper studied abroad. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Tordrid lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Grai was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.
