History: Kite lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Spear was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Spear was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Fortune-teller. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: She is renowned for her bright pastel dresses and hats. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She sports a flattop fur cut. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Dilettante but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: He has a missing right leg. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He has styled his black fur well, parting it to the right. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Drifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Drifting. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: She is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Dilettante, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'10" when asserting herself. Her brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 19. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Dilettante, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
