History: Curran hails from a village terrorized by giants. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her childhood dream was to be a Brewer, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mason.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins; and wants to work out more often

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
