Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Dagnal is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Kilvar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Kilvar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Kilvar and his spouse have recently divorced.

His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: Susannah is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
