History: Cairn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and many orcs want him driven away

History: Born in the east to a Shepherd, Dreali learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to be a spice merchant again

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she is unsatisfied with her job
