History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Alain took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up crossbow and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
