Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Flame embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Interpreter, but he got bored and became a Jeweler. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Jeweler responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Harvest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light tan in addition to tight pants. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His skin is flawless and his hazel eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Architect born in the past three hundred years. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Interpreter profession.

History: He was born in the west. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He struck the Architect job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: He wears a violet coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a broad hat upon his head. He is portly but not overly obese. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Ronwe enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Ronwe lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ronwe was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Herbalist. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and wants to raise her children well
