Description: She tends to wear a black poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She carries with her a set of halberds, each one with a ruby on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her silver hair is greasy and uncared for. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Astaro is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Astaro is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for her, and Hethress does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a Tailor, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Hethress was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hethress's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hethress and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Rael lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Rael was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Rael decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: She is a pot bellied northern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears a black vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her white leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her black boots flare out at the collars. She keeps her white hair in a flapper bob. Her eyes are a pleasant black.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her first spouse was a Spy, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Makaria fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
