History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hadarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Skirt was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Knight, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Charles abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Gardener. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she has a crush on the local gardener
