History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

After coming to the age of reason, Ulblyn took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Numba was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult.
