Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Drifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Drifting. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he dresses in pastel turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with violet slacks. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Elegant was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. After coming to the age of reason, Elegant took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
