Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Purban does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Courier, his father struggled to pay the bills. When Purban reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Purban and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Simon has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and money/treasure

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end her boredom
