History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Hunter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Malmûg never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His head has been shaved. This amber eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bhevek is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 3'1". She dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with pastel slacks, and her gloved hand is found clutching a club. Her hair is long and red with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small white clips. She has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She wears green trousers with brown and grey striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her hair is purple and curly. Her half smiles and gold eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Astaro was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Astaro's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Brewer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
