History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a white cloak and cross-gartered yellow stockings. Her blonde hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Balam was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her fur is lavender and curly. Her eyes are copper and beady.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Cloak was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. After months of barely getting by, Ilanis managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.
