She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Miller. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student she started as a Fortune-teller, but she got bored and became a Miller. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the east to a Doctor, Umpen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Doctor soon after.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and balancing his hectic life and new doctor responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Shifting learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Joser does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom
