Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Purban fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He is a husky man, who typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep red leather and dull tan iron scale mail. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and gnomish compassion

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she is dressed in earthy colors with a red and black handkerchief worn on her right side. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her eyes are gray and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: This tall, slender man wears a tight fitting blue shirt and pants. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He uses divination through singing.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to protect his home

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Emen was born with her mother's beautiful face. Emen liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Emen and her spouse have recently divorced.
