History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting brigands, the young Shane began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Osco fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the south to a Blacksmith, Oppah learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in the west to a Courier, Mardred learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student she started as a Tanner, but she got bored and became a Beggar. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and wants to open a new tavern
