History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Emerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in a small forest village. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
