Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Matilda isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Carter business.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Matilda has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Mantus alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and to prove her worth to the world

His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
