Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull white iron scale mail. His brown fur is braided into rings. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Drifting hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the north were limited. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Painter. He has styled his white fur well, parting it to the right. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Trail was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Painter. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a brown tunic with black highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Falkrunn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Falkrunn and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and she is greedy
