History: He was born into a rich family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some giants. Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Curran lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
