Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His fur is red and curly. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during and is in decent physical shape. Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. Her ears are large.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: This younger middle-aged woman does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her ears are large.
Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Oriff was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and many goblins want her driven away

Description: She usually wears her pastel robe and has her scimitar always slung over her shoulder. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her black fur is knotted and matted. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her yellow eyes.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dynamic embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She takes great joy in being the best Slave Trader in town.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and expand her business

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Kelter is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kelter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants him found
