History: Peter was born with his father's beautiful face. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Mayor profession.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she is greedy

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and doesn't want to be a dilettante and was forced into it by his family
