History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. He worked as a nervous Cartwright and found it very stressful. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Euron was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
