History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Pirithin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ralf was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Vapula was born with her father's beautiful face. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bowyer, and she later adopted a second daughter.
