Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her first spouse was a Priest, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Jeweler, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Trail was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Trail's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Rosalind abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and to settle down with her crush
