History: Aelar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Through the years after Aelar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Aelar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and wants a kiss

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.
