History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born in the south. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She tends to her Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Being a Crown-heir kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
