History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in a small desert village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Performer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Performer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
