History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Grumbar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. History: Orthog was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and many gnolls want her driven away
