Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Gale lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She struck the Guard job and began her own company from there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
