History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Engraver, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. He tends to his Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Alex was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Merchant. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Rurik began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest man in the south

She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born in a small plains village. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and sabotage a competitor
