History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Baern took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up warhammer and armor he uses now. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and obtaining odd cultural tiefling artifacts is her passion
