History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naill fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears dull black sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed longsword, just in case. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His black unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is content; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This late middle aged woman typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor and is in decent physical shape. Her black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her small white hat.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Merla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'2". She is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft yellow waves gently in the breeze. Her golden hair is singed and shortened. Her blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 92. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is a great chef.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy.
