History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Shifting hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Shifting alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
