History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Vola was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He tends to his Fisher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a brown costume with the symbols of magic on his torso. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Darrak studied abroad. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He keeps his rusty crest in a pixie cut. This gold eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Born in the south to a Miner, Patrin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult.
