Glûk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Glûk. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.
