History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Through the years after Thorin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Thorin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
