Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has amber eyes and a yellow hat with a white feather.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'4". He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Broce embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Broce is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. After a long history of fighting, Broce and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is a great chef.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'9" and wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Laborer father left him crippled. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.
