History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Barbena was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
