Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Oppleby was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Cora was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Cora has worked very hard to control her curse. She became a Sculptor soon after.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
